We are seeking an experienced Merchandising Manager to oversee our Men's category. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fashion, possess a deep understanding of luxury brands, and demonstrate expertise in online retail trends. This role requires a blend of creative vision and commercial acumen to drive sales and enhance our brand's market presence.
- Category Management: Oversee the Men's fashion category, ensuring a diverse and relevant product mix that aligns with our brand values and customer expectations.
- Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying and capitalizing on emerging styles and products in the luxury men's fashion market..
- Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, ensuring optimal inventory turnover and minimizing overstock. Collaborate with the buying team to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement pricing strategies that balance competitiveness and profitability.
- Sales Analysis: Regularly review sales performance to identify opportunities for growth and strategies to improve underperforming areas, and to monitor the replenishment during the season.
- Assortment review before the Sales Campaign to control the buying of the new collections and balance the mix offer between categories.
- OTB: Define budget (Open-To-Buy) according to the company’s financial targets at brand and product line level
- Buying campaign monitoring (pre and post buying), tracking campaign status update and ensuring the optimization of the buying.
- Editorial/Merchandising Calendar: Creation of Editorial Calendar in order to define which categories/brands/topics has to be push and communicate per month and channel (Home Page, News Letter, Social, and MKT paid channels)
- Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns and promotions that highlight key products and trends in the Men's category.
- Work closely with Digital Product Management, SEO, and UI-UX in order to optimize the ecommerce site,and PLP.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of merchandisers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in merchandising, preferably in an online luxury retail environment.
- Strong understanding of luxury fashion, particularly in men's apparel and accessories.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in retail math.
- Proficient in MS Office and retail management software.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
